Shirdi Sai Baba (October 15, 1918), also known as Shirdi Sai Baba, was an Indian spiritual master and fakir, considered by millions as a saint. He was revered by both Hindu and Muslim devotees during and after his lifetime. His Teachings Focused on:
Sai Baba taught to seek the divine within. True freedom, he said, comes through awareness of one’s nature and unity with all beings.

Sri Pongalakavil Bhadrakali in Shivashramam
Sri Bhadrakali is worshiped in Shivashramam as the Upasana Murti of Sadhguru Adithya Swarupananda Swamiji.
In Shivashramam, Goddess Bhadrakali is worshiped as Shmashaana Kali, the fierce protector who resides in cremation grounds. She symbolizes courage, fearlessness, and the destruction of negativity. Devotees see her as the guardian who removes suffering and obstacles for those who surrender to her with faith.

Bhadrakali also appears as Dhasahastha Kali, the Goddess of Sarvaishwarya — prosperity, abundance, and well-being. Depicted with ten hands, she is revered as the savior of the world, blessing her children with both material wealth and spiritual richness, and guiding them towards harmony and fulfillment.

Puja is performed to the goddess every day and special puja is performed on Tuesdays and Fridays. It is customary for many devotees to come to Pongalkavu to offer Pongala to Amma on Bharani Divas during the month of Kumbh.

In the year 2000, Swami Adityaswarupanandaji established Shivashramam Shirdisai Mission (Shirdisai Madam). Main Deities:
A large number of devotees visit the temple daily, especially on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
This Ashramam has showcased several praiseworthy achievements in social service activities, spiritual activities, voluntary service activities.
An initiative has been taken by Madathipathi Sadhguru Adityaswarupananda Ji and the devotees, to construct an “Annadana Mandapam” at the temple primises. This initiative has also been started to give free food for the devotees who come for darshan every day.

Clothing is one among the basic amenities of human life. Ashram provides clothing to the needy. Many generous donors regularly come ahead and donate blankets and clothes. To help those who have been surviving in such poverty stricken conditions.

Ashram provides Rice Kits to many ragpickers, manhole cleaners, workers and many other type of people, who are now old and ill and are now living in bad conditions. There are a lot of volunteers and sponsors who will help to make their lives bit better.

Since "ashramam" is a term used for a spiritual hermitage or a place of retreat, its vision and mission are often aligned Shivashramam Shirdhi Sai Mission Charitable Trust , Thrissur ,Kerala , India was established on 2008. Since its inception , the Trust has been driven by the sagacious slogan, “ Service to Humanity is Service to God ” which is a blissful adage obtained from Bhagawan Sri Shirdhi Sai Baba. The Trust’s founder , Sri Sathguru Adhithyaswapoopananda Puri began the organization.

Living to its motto, the trust provides an array of altruistic service, reinforcing the society’s cultural , moral and spiritual pillars. With the piety in practice, many projects had already rolled out of the trust’s 25 years of existence.From a humble beginning marked by an orphanage sheltering just 3 boys, today’s achievements remain shining testimonials to the trust’s diligence and synergy. The Ashramam includes a temple with deities of Sri Shirdhi Sai Baba, Kaali and Nagas. The poojas and offerings were conducting according to the needs of the devotees on a daily basis. Shivashramam is made, with not just money but with love, pain ,sacrifice, humanity and blessings of the almighty and one can experience that in every nook corner of Shivashramam. Devotees are the main pillars and strength of this Ashram who has been there throughout the entire journey, contributing time, money, prayers and whatever is possible of them. Each paise has been valuable and one can see that Shivashramam is made of the kind support, love and prayers of hundreds and thousands of benevolent people. The Trust started their first project on 2020 by providing “ Annadhanan ” during the difficult Covid time for 150 to 200 homeless people So many poor people has been fed through this.
